Are you a yelling soccer coach?
It is an urge that is harder to fight than all others. We want to
control the game because we hate to fail as humans. What we need to
understand is that youth players learn from their mistakes. They
need to be the ones making decisions on the field, not the coach.
Part of the learning process as a youth player is the ability to
think under pressure. If your going to yell, it should be a positive
comment about good decisions. Remember, the practice is yours, the
game is theirs. Let them have it.
